This patient has been referred to our office for endondontic re-treatment and to cover those 2 premolars afterwards.
we initiated the Re-RCT, then we proceeded to acquire a healthy, clean tooth margin under rubber dam isolation. Then we proceeded to reinforce the 2 premolars with same sequence, using ever-x posterior to replace dentin substance, then packable composite to build the 2 premolars up. When it came to preparation, vertical crown preparation was the choice for the first premolar considering the enamel quality. And a vonlay preparation design was the choice for the second premolar as the enamel quality was so much better.
The patient was followed-up after 1 week of cementation, 2 weeks, one month and finally for 9 months, everything was stable as if it was done yesterday with great tissue response around the fabricated restorations.
