Emergency visits are tricky yet how we deal with it, is what really matters.
this young lady presented to our clinic after she had fallen and hit the ground, so esthetic workflow wasn’t our concerning at the very beginning, yet we needed to assess the teeth vitality and check up for any sign of root fractures and so on.
after meticulous clinical and radiographic examinantions, teeth were vital and no sign of aggressive fractures were noticed except the incisor fractures on both #21 & #22.
Composite recipe for that case included using the following shades: neospectra effects E1, neospectra effects D1 and neospectra universal LV A2.
After rubber dam isolation we started smoothening the sharp edges found at both fractures sites, we used Tor-VM blue discs for that mission and doing an infinity bevels on the labial surfaces of both #21 & #22.
Neospectra effects E1 was used to build the palatal shell
Neospectra universal A2 was use to build the proximal wall
Neospectra effects D2 was used to build the dentin layers
White stain was used after the application of dentin layer and stroked by brush to mimic the white spots the patient had at teeth #11 & #12
Then at the very last layer neospectra effects E1 was used in a very thin, thin & homogenous layer to give that accepted translucency and shining appearance as appeared on #11 & #12.
