☆ M A R G I N MODIFICATION ☆
● It’s a very important step and always challenging in terms of matrix adaptation and seal in deep proximal cavities .
In this case 2 class II cavities in teeth 16 & 17 with different situations and different ways of MODIFICATION .
♤ Tooth 16 with mesial deep caries but the problem here was that the remaining enamel was cracked and demineralized, so i trimmed it till having good quality enamel with smooth margin .
♧ Tooth 17 with mesial caries ( moderate in depth) , but the problem here was different the problem here was 《the space》 , no sufficient space for proper matrix application to the proper depth without deformation so , i intended to go a little deeper to get more space and to get a good access to finish and adjust marginal ridge .
