Initial presentation of broken down teeth.. previously root treated..

the premolar is elevated from the mesial purchase point.. and removed..

the distal and palatal roots are joined... so sectioning is done..

elevation and root forceps used to remove the distal root..

same is followed for mesial root..

followed by palatal root..

final photograph shows good preservation of furcal bone and buccal plate..

removed root stumps..

collagen sponge and figure of 8 suturing to protect the blood clot..

So helpful and thank you for the detailed photos, I just had 7 teeth pulled at once and need 7 more on my other side and I’m healing up well thank God but thank yall for being so great to be able to handle and wanting to do this to help people. I wish I would have listened and took care of my teeth as a child and throughout my 35 years. I have to have 15 teeth pulled and am half way there. I feel so much better then I have the past 20 years already!
