This case presents a biomimetic overlay restoration of an endodontically treated maxillary left first molar with extensive structural loss.
Following a thorough assessment, a minimally invasive preparation was performed, preserving as much enamel as possible. Immediate dentin sealing (IDS) was applied to enhance bond strength.
The tooth was restored with a CAD/CAM-fabricated overlay, providing cuspal coverage and reinforcing the remaining tooth structure.
This biomimetic approach aims to replicate the natural biomechanics of the tooth, ensuring long-term durability, optimal function, and esthetics.
