Patient attend with defective amalgam filling with cold sensitivity, being replaced with direct composite onlay as cuspal coverage of the mesio-palatal cusp was needed , the work completed on two appointments .. following the Biomimetic concept & Applying it’s roles .

Margin elevation , IDS & Resin coating with fiber reinforcement over the crack
Takes the maximum benefit of Decoupling with time (DWT) as it takes 1 week allow for maximum hybrid layer maturity
At the next appointment, TF removal & Sandblasting
Bioclear band with Elliot’s separator
Glycerine gel then finished & polished
