55 years old patient come to clinic asking for treating her lower first molar that has previous large old defective amalgam filling , treatment done by removing the amalgam and doing endodontic treatment and preparing the tooth to receive lithium disilicate overlay following the principles of modern adhesive dentistry
The first visit was Endodontic treatment only and amalgam removal
After amalgam removal the cavity was very large and destructive MOD cavity
In the second visit isolation with rubberdam ,all caries in the proximal sides removed , the margin will elevated
IDS with gold standard clearfil SE bond ,RC with flowable composite ,DWT ,Ever x posterior for dentin replacement ,coverd by GC composite ,biobase ready

Tooth preparation for cementation ,first isolation ,second sandblasting, third acid etching, fourth adhesive without curing
Overlay preparation for cementation , first : HF 9.6% acid etching for 20 sec. , second : phosphoric acid etching for 1min. ,third : silane application for 1min. And dry , bond without curing (some literature said its not necessary ) , cementation with heated composite
