- At first:
ℹ️ This case represents an application of some concepts I newly learned (after taking acceptance from the patient on the ttt plan) on a tooth that should be restored,
taking the advantage of the pt. postponing restoring the mesial space.
ℹ️ While more realistic options, as taking this wisdom as an abutment in a fixed-fixed bridge design, are of course more beneficial for the whole mastication process (if it was available).
Clinically:
Chronic irritation of the pulp resulted in a polyp over each canal orifice.
Access cavity after complete cleaning & shaping.
Now, trying clean cavity floor as much as possible to allow for maximum bond strength, God willing.
Now, glass fibers resin (ever x) for a more fracture resistance, God willing.
(Circumferential composite layer was built freehand).
Successive cusp build-up.
Finished & polished.
Final x-ray:
- Composite crown.
- Obturation tech. : Single cone with a bioceramic sealer.
