Complex Class II. Old restorations, secondary caries at the border with the pulp chamber (tertiary reactive dentin can be seen), mesial and distal subgingival lesions — everything just as I like it. A cold test was performed, which confirmed a vital pulp.
The matrices were successfully adapted without additional manipulations (like DME); everything fit well, it was enough to prepare properly and slightly press the matrices in some places. Next — it’s all about technique.
In the procedure, I used composites from Dentsply Sirona — SDR, Neo Spectra A2, D1, and the Palodent matrix system. Tints: ochre, brown by Ivoclar.
The work was performed as part of the patient’s preparation for orthodontic treatment.
