The patient presented to my clinic with recurrent caries in the lower second premolar (tooth #5). After removing the previous restoration, a proper cavity design was achieved. The procedure started with etching, followed by the application of 2% chlorhexidine with ethanol (without rinsing). Then, an adhesive system (SE Bond from Kuraray) was applied.
The restoration began with building the distal wall using AP-X Flow and AP-X composite .The final layer using composite from Tokuyama
