Fluorosis treatment using icon infiltration
Icon, from DMG, is already well established for the treatment mild to moderate fluorosis “white spot” stage on vestibular surfaces without the need for injections or drilling. It restores the optical properties of the tooth structure thereby returning the tooth’s natural shade .
Treatment plan was :
๐ isolation with rubber dam
๐ polishing by rubber cup with fgm whitening Rm
๐ icon kit ( acid etch tube , dry tube , infiltration tube )
๐ start with etching 2 min .
๐ rinse with water, dry with air flow.
๐apple dry tube for 15 sec,
White spot should disappear, If not,ย repeat etching step.
( you can repeat these procedures ย 2-4 times )
๐dry with air flow and switch the light of the chair to the operative light.
๐add infiltration tube 2 min , apply air flow & flossing & curing for 40 sec.
