The patient comes to my attention requesting the replacement of the old obturation of element 2.1, now old and dark.
The isolation is then positioned thanks to the rubber dam and the old restoration is removed.
Requesting an aesthetic solution from the patient, the remodeling of the mesial emergence profile of the adjacent tooth is also proposed (2.2)
Thanks to the aid of a silicone key (recorded before disassembling the old restoration), a palatine enamel shield is built and 2.1 is layered using Micerium composite (dentinal UD3-UD2).
The final enamel layer (BF2) is then applied and the 2.2 remodeling proceeds.
Once the reconstructive phase is finished, we move on to an accurate polishing.
The final photo shows the color control at one week.
