In cases of large cavity the choise of the type of restoration mostly go with indirect restoration(crown or onlay overlay ) when there is agreat loss of tooth structure to prevent fracture of the tooth and for long term treatment .
So when we can go with direct composite restoration in such cases ?
We can go with direct composite by using some materails that can prevent fracture and cracks and can save the tooth without going to indirect choise
This materails are (Ribond ,Ever X posterior …)els.
In this case I use the Ever X posterior wich is a fiber_reinforced composite for dentin replacement to support to the composite and give agood result that can withstand the occlusal forces .
