Clinical presentation:
- Lower 2nd premolar #20 with an external root resorption , while clinically no mobility was found & tooth is in function, so RCT was done.
X-ray:
- Master cone & obturation (lateral condensation tech.)
Split dam in action..cause rubber dam reflection will be too difficult on distal root surface due to absence of enamel.
Caries detector dye to confirm PSZ
IDS - RC - DWT
Insufficient buccal & lingual cusps mesiodistal width leaded to slight collapse of saddle matrix at MB line angle..if this was final situation, unhealthy embrassure will form causing food impaction.
Ring system removed , more width to B & L cusps , free hand build-up.
Alhamdullah, now better adaptation of the matrix causing healthy buccal & lingual embrassures, God willing.
Now, ever x posterior to increase fracture resistance, God willing.
Final..slight roundation of line angles is needed.
Done, now glossy, Alhamdullah.
Final look.
Closer look.
Final x-ray:
- Smooth margin.
- Healthy contact.
