𝖳𝗁𝗂𝗌 𝖼𝖺𝗌𝖾 𝗂𝗌 𝖺 𝗍𝗒𝗉𝗂𝖼𝖺𝗅 𝖼𝖺𝗌𝖾 𝗈𝖿 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙘𝙮𝙨𝙩, 𝗐𝗁𝖾𝗋𝖾 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗉𝖺𝗍𝗂𝖾𝗇𝗍 𝗌𝗎𝖿𝖿𝖾𝗋𝖾𝖽 𝖿𝗋𝗈𝗆 𝗆𝗎𝗅𝗍𝗂𝗉𝗅𝖾 𝖺𝖻𝗌𝖼𝖾𝗌𝗌 𝖺𝗇𝖽 𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗒 𝖺𝗋𝖾 𝖺𝗅𝗅 𝗋𝖾𝖼𝗎𝗋𝗋𝖾𝗇𝗍. 𝖤𝗏𝖾𝗇 𝗍𝗁𝗈 𝗌𝗁𝖾 𝗁𝖺𝖽 𝗉𝖾𝗋𝖿𝖾𝖼𝗍 𝗋𝗈𝗈𝗍 𝖼𝖺𝗇𝖺𝗅 𝗍𝗋𝖾𝖺𝗍𝗆𝖾𝗇𝗍 𝖳𝖶𝖨𝖢𝖤 𝖻𝗎𝗍 𝗎𝗇𝖿𝗈𝗋𝗍𝗎𝗇𝖺𝗍𝖾𝗅𝗒 𝗌𝗈𝗆𝖾𝗍𝗂𝗆𝖾𝗌 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗌𝗈𝗅𝗎𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇 𝗂𝗌 𝙢𝙞𝙘𝙧𝙤 𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙮.
𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀 & 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗧𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀:
1. It’s always better to 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 the tooth first, especially if there is any coronal leakage or if you are not sure of the quality of the past root canal treatment before heading to a surgery.
2. 𝗩𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 is mandatory for adjacent teeth cause for example this one unfortunately affected the adjacent teeth.
3. Trick to remove the cyst without rupture in one piece is by using the 𝘀𝗺𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 not the side we usually use, in order to remove it 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁 without rupture.
4. Bone should be perfectly clean along with 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 especially the inaccessible lingual side.
5. Root resection & Retrograde prep using 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘀 specifically designed for 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽, 𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐬 and the 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐭𝐚 helps in 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧.
6. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 the root after the retro prep is mandatory and yes we use sodium hypochlorite.
7. Trying the retro plugger to see if it fits then packing 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 in proper thickness to seal it.
