The patient presented to the clinic with a chief complaint of sensitivity and food impaction in the lower right quadrant, the clinical examination showed a large decay in the first lower molar.
The treatment plan involved removing the caries, building the proximal wall with composite, then using fibre reinforced composite as a dentin replacement (reinforce the composite restoration in large size cavities), finally restoring the cusps with composite.
