An 11-year-old girl presented with a history of root canal treatment on tooth 2.6 performed two years ago.
Radiographic examination revealed no signs of inflammatory processes in the root canal system. However, a flat and inadequate restoration was detected and required replacement.
In a single visit, the old composite restoration was completely removed and replaced with a new composite (Asteria A2B / NeoSpectra A2).
EverX (flowable glass fiber composite) was used as a reinforcing layer to improve the strength and durability of the tooth.
Total treatment time: 50 minutes.
