What’s the scope of prosthodontics?

Prosthodontics deals with the diagnostic examination, treatment planning, rehabilitation or restoration, maintenance of the oral function, comfort, esthetics and health of patients and clinical conditions associated with missing and deficient and/or oral and maxillofacial tissues using biocompatible substitutes.
